Denver, San Francisco to Advance to Super Bowl
I'm back again this weekend to make you NFL Playoff predictions after
going 4-0 last week--improving my record to 5-3 this second season of
2013.
Due to technical difficulties we had to audible from podcast to straight blog post--appropriate this week with two of the most effective audibling quarterbacks in the game today.
My predictions are for entertainment purposes only, and by no means do I proclaim to be a NFL gambling expert. Besides, you have to be some desperate degenerate gambler to follow the advice of a guy with my prediction record!
New England @ Denver:
Brady and Manning meet each other in the playoffs for the fourth time, and for the second time this season--where the Pats overcame a 24-0 halftime deficit to pull out a 37-31 OT win at Foxboro despite Knowshawn Moreno rushing for over 225 yards in early December.
History tells you to pick the Patriots and run to bank counting your cash. But I picked the Broncos to go to the Super Bowl in August and my pick is still alive!
Denver 27 - New England 17
San Francisco @ Seattle:
The late game is the rubber match between these two NFC-West division rivals, Seattle drubbing SF in the Emerald City 29-3 week 2 and SF edging the Seahawks 14-9 week 15. the talk this week has been focused on the effectiveness of Marshawn Lynch against the 49ers, where he has rushed over 100 yards in each of the last three wins Seattle has had over the 49ers.
The two keys in this game is 1) can the Niner's defense keep Lynch from going "Beast-mode," 2) which young QB Russell Wilson or Kolin Kaepernick will make the fewest mistakes.
Again, I pick San Francisco to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl and my pick is still alive!
49ers 20 - Seattle 16
